Will my dog actually eat it?
Mint flavored, and most dogs do not notice it mixed into wet food. If yours is a picky eater, start with a half scoop mixed in well and build up over a few days.

How long until I see a difference?
Breath usually starts to change around week two. Visible change at the gumline takes six to eight weeks. Plaque took months to harden and it comes off on that same timescale. Anyone promising results in days is selling you something.

How much do I use?
Once daily on wet or dry food. Under 20 lbs, half a scoop. 20 to 60 lbs, one scoop. Over 60 lbs, one and a half. One jar lasts about 60 days for a medium dog.

Can I use it on my cat?
Yes. Half a scoop on wet food. The same jar works for both.

Is it safe for puppies and senior dogs?
Yes for both. It is a food supplement, not a medication. If your dog is on medication or has an existing health condition, check with your vet first.

Does this replace a professional cleaning?
No. Toothpaw helps keep teeth cleaner between veterinary visits. Your vet decides when a cleaning is needed. If your dog already has loose teeth, bleeding gums, or is in pain, they need to be seen now.

Are there any side effects?
None commonly reported. A small number of dogs have looser stools in the first few days while adjusting. If that happens, halve the dose for a week then build back up.
